West Toledo campus pastor, Ed Bellner

Ed Bellner

West Toledo Campus Pastor

Pastor Ed Bellner is known for his unwavering commitment to the West Toledo community and his passion for sharing the love of Christ. As a young man, Ed witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by many residents and felt called to make a positive difference. He became a pastor in 1992 and started his career in ministry at Grace Evangelical Church in Oregon, Ohio. Ed and his wife, Dawn, were later invited by Lee Powell to be a part of a church start-up that would become CedarCreek Church.

Pastor Ed’s love for his wife and their three children is evident in the way he balances his pastoral duties with his commitment to his family. Recognizing that strong family foundations are crucial to building a flourishing community, he strives to exemplify the importance of faith, love, and unity in his own household. His loving partnership with Dawn serves as an inspiration to couples within the church, encouraging them to nurture their own marriages and prioritize family values. Beyond his pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Ed enjoys a variety of hobbies that bring him joy and relaxation, including football and disc golf.

Ed believes that by meeting people where they are, offering a listening ear, and sharing the transformative message of Christ, lives can be changed, hope can be restored, and the Toledo Community can flourish.
