How to lead at home
- Talk about the Bible and read it together. A great place to start is to review the stories your child is learning in CedarCreek Kids. We equip you with all of their lessons including questions to ask them, on a monthly basis.
- Purchase a kids’ Bible. We love The Adventure Bible.
- Begin to share the story of when Jesus became more than just a name to you. Create your own “Four-Sentence Testimony”. For example:
- When I was younger, I used to worry so much that I felt sick
- Even though my parents took me to church, I never really learned about Jesus.
- I became so worried and sad that I wanted to find a new way to live.
- When I learned about Jesus, I gave my life to him, and he brought me peace and joy!
How to partner with the church
- Attend Start Here—A conversation with your child about what it looks like to follow Jesus.
- Make sure your child attends Kids Camp! It’s the most fun they’ll have all summer!
