What is Parent/Child Dedication?
The emphasis of dedication is about parents’ publicly committing to raising their child in a home that is modeling, articulating and teaching Biblical standards and principles. If you are choosing to participate in parent/child dedication, you are choosing to do your best to honor this commitment. To give you an example, being married before you live with someone is a good model of Biblical principles and a healthy start. Another example of modeling Biblical standard is being a model and example of what it means to live life as a Christ follower. If your circumstances do not reflect either of these examples, we recommend postponing parent/child dedication and talking with a staff member, Pastor, or a LifeGroup Leader.

If you are interested in having your child dedicated please register to attend our (one time only)Parent/Child Dedication CLASS. Actual dedications will take place the weekend of May 12/13, 2012.

Ladies, Fabulous Conference 2012 is here!

Mark your calendars and register for Fabulous 2012 – this year’s theme is “Fabulous…. It’s Woman’s Work!” The purpose of the Fabulous Conference is to inspire and encourage you to become the fabulous woman that God intends for you to be.

The Fabulous 2012 conference is open to all women (aged 16 and above) so invite your girlfriends for this event! Last year, over 900 women participated in our first Fabulous Conference and this year promises to be even better!

There are three parts to this year’s Fabulous Conference event.

  • Fabulous@Home – Thursday May 17 from 9:30am-1:30pm at CedarCreek’s South Toledo Campus
  • Fabulous Fun & Inspiration Night – Thursday May 17 from 6pm-10pm at CedarCreek’s Perrysburg Campus
  • Fabulous Main Conference Day – Friday May 18 from 9am-4pm at CedarCreek’s Perrysburg Campus

Nicole Johnson

What Will You Experience at the Fabulous Conference?

*JUST ADDED!!* INTRODUCING FABULOUS@HOME EVENT! – Thursday, May 17 9:30am-1:30pm
Our Fabulous@Home event at our South Toledo Campus illuminates the importance of creating a home that is warm and welcoming in any setting and features guest speaker and author, Shauna Neiquest, author of Bittersweet and Cold Tangerines. Shauna will inspire you to create a home environment that will enable you to nurture your relationship with God and others.

After Shauna speaks, she will also share her favorite hospitality tips for dinner gatherings with guests, setting the atmosphere for Bible study group meetings and simple tips to make everyday feel special at home. There will be a cooking demonstration – we’ll be giving out samples, of course!

You’ll get an opportunity to meet some women during the “Lunch&Learn” portion of the event. We’ll be serving a lovely box lunch (included with your registration fee) and you’ll have the opportunity to share suggestions and ideas with other women. NOTE: Only 500 seats available for this event.

Your Fabulous Fun & Inspiration Night – Thursday, May 17th 6pm-10pm
When you arrive at our Perrysburg Campus, you will drop off your Thursday ticket at the door – no long checking- in lines this year! After our opening ceremony, you will have the opportunity to enjoy great food, explore different vendors and experience a few moments of bliss with a selection of personal services if you desire.

The centerpiece of our evening is an inspiring evening presentation by best-selling author of Fresh Brewed Life and Women of Faith speaker, Nicole Johnson. In her one-hour presentation, Nicole will encourage, inspire and prepare your hearts spiritually for what you will experience on Friday! We will close out Thursday evening with worship featuring our spectacular CedarCreek band.

Your Fabulous Main Conference Day – Friday, May 18th 9am-4pm
Our main conference day is going to be amazing! Your day will be filled with wonderful music and inspiring messages from Diana Patton, Lauren Snyder, Barb Roose, Lauren Miller and our special Friday guest speaker, Sarah Hammitt. Sarah is the wife of Matt Hammitt of Sanctus Real.

In addition to five conference talks, your Fabulous Friday will also include great worship, drama and so much more. Of course, our Fabulous Conference wouldn’t be Fabulous without some great surprises throughout the day!

Women like to be prepared – especially when it comes to shopping! Therefore, we have created this Fabulous Pre-Sale Retail Catalog for you to plan and prepare for your purchases at the Fabulous Conference. You have the option of pre-purchasing a variety of items now OR you can use this catalog to plan for the purchases you would like to make at the conference. (We also do the pre-sale to help us see which items ladies like the most so that we wisely place our order for the conference.)

You can make your purchases by clicking here. You will need a user name and password in order to get into the system (if you purchased tickets online, you can use the same user name and password). If you don’t have a user name and password, it isn’t difficult to set up one. Some internet browsers do not allow the photos to be seen in the registration system, however, you can refer to this catalog for pictures and descriptions of retail items. The Fabulous Pre-Sale is only available online and will be active from Friday April 6 –Friday May 4.

Any purchases you make sure this pre-sale period will be ready for you at 5pm on Thursday evening. Just stop by the Fabulous Retail area to pick up your pre-sale purchases. Of course, feel free to keep shopping!

Women like to be prepared – especially when it comes to shopping! Therefore, we have created this Fabulous Pre-Sale Retail Catalog for you to plan and prepare for your purchases at the Fabulous Conference. You have the option of pre-purchasing a variety of items now OR you can use this catalog to plan for the purchases you would like to make at the conference. (We also do the pre-sale to help us see which items ladies like the most so that we wisely place our order for the conference.)

You can make your purchases by clicking here. You will need a user name and password in order to get into the system (if you purchased tickets online, you can use the same user name and password). If you don’t have a user name and password, it isn’t difficult to set up one. Some internet browsers do not allow the photos to be seen in the registration system, however, you can refer to this catalog for pictures and descriptions of retail items. The Fabulous Pre-Sale is only available online and will be active from Friday April 6 –Friday May 4.

Any purchases you make sure this pre-sale period will be ready for you at 5pm on Thursday evening. Just stop by the Fabulous Retail area to pick up your pre-sale purchases. Of course, feel free to keep shopping!

What do we do with the money? Great question! All proceeds from the Fabulous retail sales goes to offset the cost of Fabulous scholarships.
